Steel Coating – Essex
Client Brief
Having completed cladding repair work for our client in the past, they got in touch with our team to enquire as to whether we could help with a steelwork project they had in the pipeline. They had a large multi-storey car park with steelwork that had arrived primed, but they needed our help applying a zinc top coating – a project we were pleased to accept!

What We Did
While this project seemed simple at first, it quickly became rather complex. Due to the location and scale of the multi-storey car park, once spraying had begun, it became apparent that local residents had become worried about overspray.
To overcome this, we attended a meeting to discuss options and concluded that the only viable solution would be to arrange for a larger team of operatives to finish the project using paint rollers. This method would take three times as long, so we requoted the client, who went ahead with the new plan.
In total, this project took five weeks to complete, and our operatives worked around the client’s schedule, returning to the site at different stages. It is just one example of how we will always go above and beyond to meet our client’s needs and complete the project to the highest standards.
