What We Did

During our initial survey, the client said they only wanted the panels with holes to be repaired. However, we explained that the resprayed panels would stand out compared to those left untouched, so they agreed to move forward with a full coating.

As with any repair and respray project, the first step was to clean the elevation. Using our high-quality jet-washing technology, our specialists were able to remove tough dirt, mould, and stains on the cladding so we could carry out our work unobstructed.

Once clean, we began repairing the redundant holes and other damage to the cladding. The panels were moisture resistant, so in order to prevent water damage and protect the structural integrity of the entire elevation, we needed to rebuild the profile in certain areas.

Having completed the repairs, the team began priming the surfaces and masking the area. We liaised with the client to ensure no cars were in the immediate vicinity and coned off the surrounding area. Additionally, we blocked access to a door at the base of the cladding to ensure no one used it while we sprayed the surface.

Using our state-of-the-art HVLP coating technology, our specialists began carefully applying coats of RAL 9006 silver paint. We used scissor lifts and cherry pickers to apply a uniform coating in the hardest-to-reach places.

After five days on-site, our team had re-invigorated the elevation, and our client was over the moon with the results. They even enquired about our nationwide coverage to continue working with them on other properties.
