Hospital Panel Repairs – London

Client Brief

Our team recently had the pleasure of working on a project at King’s College Hospital in London. A contractor working for the hospital was fitting new cladding but noticed that the panels had multiple lip damage and enlisted our help with repairs.

What We Did

After visiting the hospital to assess the damage, we concluded that water-based paint would be the best option. As a low-odour, quick-drying option, water-based paint is safe to use in highly populated buildings that cannot close during on-site spraying – a hospital being the perfect example.

To complete the repairs, our operatives pinned back the lip damage before putting filler over the top, priming and applying a top coat of paint in the shade Silver 9006. They used several types of access equipment throughout, including scaffolding, scissor lifts, cherry pickers and mast climbers. While this project is still ongoing, we have received fantastic feedback from the client so far.
