Delamination Repairs – Scotland
Client Brief
We were already working on the site of a pharmaceutical company in Scotland when the panel manufacturer approached us to review some delaminated panels in the same location. Delamination occurs when the front of the panel comes away from the internal foam and creates a bubbled effect. Experienced in delamination repairs, our company director, Craig, travelled to Scotland to review the problem and determine the best-suited solution.

What We Did
After assessing the delaminated panels, Craig explained to our client that the best option would be to cut out the affected area and replace it with a freshly bonded piece of panel. A U-POL body filler and fibreglass would then be used to stop the panel from cracking before the entire area is resprayed in a white colour-matched coating.
Happy with the solution, our client went ahead and booked the delamination repairs, which took our operatives only two days to complete. The results were fantastic, and we were over the moon to hear that our client was also over the moon with their experience with our team.
